Who is Laura Bretan, the young opera singer who won this year’s Romania’s Got Talent?

She sang the famous ariaVissi d’artefrom Puccini’s operaToscain the final, mesmerizing the audience and the jury with her amazing voice.Laura is of Romanian origin, but was born in the US and lives with her family in
Chicago.
Encouraged by her mother, she started singing in the church when she was 4-years old. At the age of 12, she began taking voice lessons and learn arias from operas. She is now studying canto with Nicoleta Roman, a Romanian lyric artist at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

“I’m very nervous. I’ve never believed that something like this is possible, I have no words to explain what happened tonight,” Laura said after winning Romania’s Got Talent.
“I’m speechless. I actually have no words to express how much happiness I feel now after the winners’ talents amazed us for more than six seasons, and now the talent of little Laura not only breaks our souls, penetrating deep into them, but also breaks boundaries, managing to amaze millions of people! My sincere congratulations! Good luck!” Andra, one of the most popular pop singers in Romania and one jury member at Romania’s Got Talent wrote on her Facebook page.

America’s Got Talent 2016 – Live Show #3 Results – Live Blog and Videos
America’s Got Talent 2016 Results Live Blog – Live Show 3
America’s Got Talent 2016 THIRD LIVE RESULTS SHOW airs tonight. Seven acts will advance, FIVE acts will go home based on YOUR VOTES. Simon Cowell, Mel B.,Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel sit on the panel.
Olympic champion, Michael Phelps is on hand as Nick Cannon’s guest co-host tonight. Aw. Little Boomer is in the audience. The audience breaks out into a chant of USA USA USA. Michael feels like he was able to retire the way he wanted to, after winning a total of 23 gold medals.
Next a recap…and if you watched the clip show at 8, you can take a snack break now. FYI: After Ronee Martin performed, Simon Cowell wondered if she could sell records at 62. Daniel, from the Mother/Son dance act, was REALLY crying after Howie buzzed and criticized him. Boo. Howie’s a dick.
The THREE acts in danger (6th 7th and 8th place, in no particular order) are… Linkin Bridge, Malevo and Ronee Martin. Hm.
Do a Google search on Dunkin Save and VOTE! The voting window is 30 minutes. America will save ONE act. The judges will save another.
Results! Alla and Daniel, Kaden Bart Rocket take the stage. The dancers have to know they are toast. Kaden Bart Rocket advance, Alla and Daniel head home. The little magicians cry when hearing they are safe.
Grace Vanderwaal and Brian Justin Crum. I BET 100 COOKIES THEY ARE BOTH SAFE. (This shtick happens every week). And…Nick shouts…BOTH OF YOU! Howie declares that we’re looking at the finals. Simon is so cute pretending he does not know the results.
Next, former contestants, Recycled Percussion, bring their drumming act to the America’s Got Talent stage. Apparently, they have a show in Vegas. I’m a little confused. “We’re an American Band” track plays. I guess they drum along? And the guitarist? Then a dude shows up with a welding tool? Sorry, but this isn’t an act. I mean, people pay to see that? Michael Phelps is sitting with the judges. He thought it was “awesome.”
More results! Julia Scotti, Vello Vaher and Edgar take the stage. The next act into the semifinals is…Edgar! Julia and Vello are eliminated.
The Passing Zone and Blake Vogt remain. The next act going into the semifinals is…Blake Vogt! The Passing Zone is eliminated. Sorry Simon. You won’t be part of their act.
Michael Phelps is back on stage giving the acts advice. Just get out there and have fun! That’s not cliched or not. Hm. In a clip, Simon ranks the rest of the judges, based on topics, or something.
Time to announce the Dunkin Save. America saved…Malevo! America saves the hot guys. The choreographer takes the stage to say a few words of thanks.
Linkin Bridge and Ronee Martin remain. The judges will decide.
Mel B – Linkin Bridge Howie – Linkin Bridge Heidi – Ronee Martin Simon – Linkin Bridge
I KNEW the judges wouldn’t deadlock like they did for the first two weeks of the live shows. Simon doesn’t believe Ronee is marketable. And an a’cappella group with a touching backstory makes for better TV.
Four singing acts advanced tonight! We’re all in agreement that vocalists will take it all this year right? Still, I was a little surprised that Julia Scotti, the transgender femalecomedian was sent home. I also expected Passing Zone to advance after a splashy act featuring the judges. However, Blake Vogt showed more skill, so I’m glad he advanced instead.
Advancing to the Semi-Finals
Kaden Bart Rocket – Kid Magicians Grace Vanderwaal – Singer/Songwriter Brian Justin Crum – Singer Edgar – Singing group Blake Vogt – Magician Malevo – Dance troupe (Dunkin Save) Linkin Bridge – a’cappella group (Judges Save)

In the history of music, there's just always been a shelf life for boy bands and girl groups.
Sadly, one of our faves - The Saturdays - have gone on a "break". A long and indefinite break!
But, from the ashes of that girl group risesMollie King!
The blonde British beauty has struck out with her debut solo single and it is destined to be a huge smash in the U.K.!
Back To You sounds like a great single from Cheryl - and we mean that as a huge compliment!
Will the U.S. receive her warmly? Will she even try to crack America? We hope the answer is yes for both!
Grace VanderWaal The 'AGT' little star; Admits Going To School After ‘AGT’ Was ‘Frustrating’: People Were Fake
Grace VanderWaal — AKA the next Taylor Swift — is blowing up thanks to her appearances on ‘America’s Got Talent’, but alas, fame comes with a price. The twelve-year-old revealed in an Aug. 22 interview that returning to school after being on the show has resulted in a little bit of heartbreak — see what Grace had to say right here!
Grace VanderWaal is not yet a teenager, but she is precocious and speaks with undeniable, well, grace. In a new interview with Teen Vogue, the middle school student and songstress admitted that going back to her school in Suffern, NY, hasn’t been at all smooth sailing. “My friends don’t really care anymore,” she shrugged. “But it’s hard because you walk into school and people, who might have even been mean to you, are all of a sudden looking at you like, ‘Hey, best friend!’ and are like, ‘Do you want to hang out tomorrow?'” Yes, people can be bummers.
Grace added that her newfound popularity makes lunchtime hard, too. “At our lunch table — we literally used to sit alone, and people would go out of their way to squeeze their way into other tables, just to not sit at our table. All of a sudden our table is completely full and crowded. It’s frustrating,” she explained to the mag.
Outside of school life, Grace is giving the competition her all, and we definitely think she has what it takes to sweep the judges off their feet — honestly, she already has. “Grace, you know what I predict for you? I think you are the next Taylor Swift,”Simon Cowell(now famously) told herin June. We hope so!
Sofia Richie Spotted At Justin Bieber’s Place: He Returns To L.A. Before Her 18th Bday
Back together again! After a wild weekend in London, Justin Bieber has returned to Los Angeles, and he wasted no time reuniting with Sofia Richie. The teenager was photographed outside Justin’s house on Aug. 23 — just one day before her birthday!
Sofia Richie, 18, may have been sick the day before her 18th birthday, but that didn’t stop her from paying a visit to her pal, Justin Bieber, 22. Just hours before the clock struck midnight on her big day, Sofia was seen at the Biebs’ Los Angeles home, dressed down in leggings and an oversized long-sleeved shirt.CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PICS OF SOFIA LEAVING JUSTIN’S.
The pair’s reunion comes after the 22-year-old spent the weekend partying in London with Bronte Blampied, who was also one of the models who accompanied him on his trip to Hawaii with Sahara Ray earlier this month. Justin and Bronte were photographed at Tape nightclub on two separate occasions over the weekend, and she was Snapchatting up a storm from his show at the V Festival.
But that doesn’t mean Sofia was lonely and down in the dumps while her close friend was away. While the “Company” singer was out and about overseas, the teenager spent time with her buddy, Eric Meier, and they even hit up the Adele concert on Aug. 21.
Sofia is celebrating her 18th birthday on Aug. 24, and we’ll be anxiously waiting to see if Justin does anything special for her big day. Plus, we know she runs in well-known crowds that includes stars like Kendall and Kylie Jenner, so we can’t wait to see who shows up if there’s a big bash!
